This stunning neo-Gothic Anglican cathedral is the largest cathedral in England and the fifth largest in Europe. The cornerstone was laid in her 1904 and the magnificent building was completed in 1978 in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II.

The modern circular cathedral opened in 1967 and is famous for its breathtaking Lutyens his Crypt & Treasury and large stained glass windows.

Lutyens Crypt can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Tickets are £5 per person and £12 for families. Guided tours are also available and free.
