Liverpool Anglican Cathedral
This stunning neo-Gothic Anglican cathedral is the largest cathedral in England and the fifth largest in Europe. The cornerstone was laid in her 1904 and the magnificent building was completed in 1978 in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II.
In addition to various architectural masterpieces and works of art, the cathedral offers a program that includes events such as gala dinners, music sets, and conferences. There is also The Tower Experience, which offers spectacular 360-degree views from the roof of the cathedral. This includes the Great Space Film and Bell Chamber.
Admission is free, but there is a charge for The Tower Experience. Standard tickets are £6, reduced tickets are £5 and family tickets are £16.

Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King
The majestic Metropolitan Cathedral is a landmark not to be missed. It was supposed to have a similar style to the aforementioned Anglican cathedral, but due to the war this idea was abandoned. The modern circular cathedral opened in 1967 and is famous for its breathtaking Lutyens his Crypt & Treasury and large stained glass windows.
Lutyens Crypt can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Tickets are £5 per person and £12 for families. Guided tours are also available and free.
